The National Interest Market and Truck Station (logistics center) will be built by DM Investment and Construction founded with the partnership of Doğyap and Miller groups. By the remarkable vision of the President of the Republic of Senegal Mr. Macky Sall the project will provide to the Senegalese people employment, the project is a flagship project of Senegal Emergent Plan that will support agricultural production, and facilitate the life in Dakar, it is also the largest national interest market in Africa.
The project will be built on an area of 140.000 m2 open, 56.000 closed.
The logistics center built in order to relieve traffic in Dakar, and the truck station will be built on an area of 42,000 m2.
The building of the National Interest Market will include 65 stores of 150 m2 with mezzanine (45 stores will have cold rooms), 72 shops of 75 m2, a common cold room of 750 m2, delivery areas, a calibration space of 500 m2. The project also includes 10 sales units of 100 m2, an administrative building of 1,000 m2, a laboratory and a technical building of 144 m2.
Truck Station will include a hangar of 1,200 m2 including cold rooms, an administrative building of 500 m2, a maintenance building, and technical building of 500 m2, with parking with a capacity of 130 seats for trucks, and 50 commercial vehicles.
